Gynzy Statusboard

Based on the Panic board blog post, the Gynzy statusboard is written in PHP and is using jQuery for updates, heavily CCSed. Displayed using an old mediacenter PC, using Chrome in Kiosk mode.

Our board is located in the center of our office, and uses both visual as audio notifications of events.

We display time, weather and various counters like ticket count, open support messages, open orders, and number of tools in development and testing.
The bars are relative to eachother in size, we try get them to zero as quickly as possible ;)

Also on the board are basic RRD graphs displaying the load on servers, visitors to the site(s) etc., as well as a twitter stream of messages mentioning 'Gynzy',
and a photo stream of pictures we take during visits to our clients. An NPS score is also displayed, as well as the build status of various projects, a shared calendar and Trac messages.

When an import even occurs (like an incoming support message, build failure, new ticket etc.) we display a messages and play a sound effect,
after 10 seconds the message disappears. The sound effect is dependant on the source of the event (a birdie on a twitter message, a cash register on a new order etc.)
