Swamp Volcano (2012) Syfy Movie TV Spot

Stars Rachel Hunter (The Benchwarmers) and Brad Dourif (Lord of the Rings). In Swamp Volcano, premiering Saturday, January 28 at 9PM (ET/PT), oil rig drillers in the Gulf of Mexico hit an underground lava flow, causing a massive volcano to form in Miami. Now a vulcanologist and her sister attempt to blow the whistle on an illegal oil drilling scheme before it sets off the eruption that will destroy civilization.

I loved it but it lack the special Miami feeling that we exclusively have toward crisis situations. The casting of Sliders's fame black character as an evil CEO was priceless to say the least. The theory that an extint volcano becomes activated in mainland Florida is interesting, Lake Okechobee is a good cnadidate for the now water cover top on of one. Unfortunally, real science puts the closest fault as far South as Haiti.
