I remember when I went up there in the late 90's I would keep staring at the WTC in the distance, even w/ the limited time I had up there. I think as a kid, going to the top of this and the Empire in the same weekend made me grow to admire History and important structures such as this one. The statue of Liberty is definitely one of the most important symbols in America.

Hi, i have a few questions about the "head clearance." I am about 6'2 and a half but have kinda bad posture and slump over. Will I still be able to ascend the stairs to the crown do you think? There are literally only a few crown tickets left and I want to go so badly.

On a side note, I am a little afraid of heights and out of shape but i think those parts can be overcome!

Also, In October will the crown part be closed PERMANENTLY?? (or will it reopen at some point?) Please let me know!!
