I live in South Eastern CT and i once caught one it was only like a foot or two but it was pretty cool

Pretty cool. One of my friends and I caught a stingray 3 feet in diameter off his dock. That was one long fight. He ended up wrapping himself around the dock leg multiple times but then we got some help and they eventually got him up after about an hour.
