What's wrong with Reformed Theology? (Washer, Piper, McArthur, RC Sproul)

Not what you expect, but still very important discussion. There are MASSIVE building blocks missing. This "reformed" theology is still based on the same temple worship, clergy heirarchy, traditions and DIVISION as was the Roman model that Luther railed against! If the understanding of something so foundational as "What is a CHURCH?" is wrong, then what can be built on it that is stable? It's all sinking sand if it's not founded on CHRIST and the way HE wants us to be aligned.

@October31st1517 Where do I find the role of the "senior pastor" in the Bible? Or 1000 people sitting quietly while one man lectures uninterrupted? Which denomination do you think is Biblical? If they believed the Bible, they wouldn't even BE a denomination! Give me a break.

You grieve the Spirit practically every time you open your mouth & you call me to repent? Why do you even troll around my channel? You won't even discuss reasonably, you just lob a grenade and go back to your corner.

@fotm1 Doug, I must warn you that I can hear the rebellion in your words. And we know that rebellion is as the sin of Witchcraft. All Christian denominations are UNIFIED when it comes to the essentials of the Christian faith. It is non-essentials that divide us. Put your hate aside. From your messages I've heard on YouTube I can safely say that you are not qualified to be a shepherd. You need to seek counsel from Godly men. I'm praying for you.

@October31st1517 All denominations are CARNAL by the very fact that they ARE denominations. Can you truly tell me that you are in unity with Rob Bell? That you're in unity with the Pentecostals? You're a cessationist calvinist and it's clear that you CANNOT lay that aside OR ELSE you'd be in unity with ME! Tell me how you and I differ on the "essentials" - and if we don't, then why are you all the time rebuking me? I have no hate/rebellion at all. Just irritation at hypocrisy.

@fotm1 No, I am not in unity with Rob Bell because he denies essentials of the Christian faith. We are different in the essentials because you want all Christians to leave their churches and view the scriptures the way you do. The reason you believe denominations are carnel is because you WANT TO BELIEVE that. We differ on the essentials because I believe the bible alone is God's word. If you believe that God is still speaking today, can you truly say that the bible is your final authority?

@October31st1517 But YOU said all Christian denominations are unified. And Rob Bell claims to be one! So what you MEAN is that all Christian denominations that YOU deem "Christian" are unified. If you believed the Bible AT ALL, then you would not grieve the Holy Spirit so much by your constant denial of the Gifts & that God still speaks to His people. If u believed the Bible AT ALL, then you would have HIS heart, instead of being so legalistic. You wouldn't worship the Bible if you KNEW Jesus.

Good topic, nothing wrong with discussing. I haven done to much researching into this yet as i am trying to strip away sin in my life and focus on my relationship with the father, Jesus and the holy spirit. Heres my problem im trying to find a home church to grow and give back to im have been going to a Baptist church and i visited a reformed church Living Hope, Hamilton/ ON to be exact and im tring to find out their staement of faith and beliefs

It is real easy to say that because Martin Luther suffered from physical illness that he deserved everything he had coming to him, just because of some OT book. Did the blind man deserve being blind? I am starting to become disgusted by Christianity by the religion itself rather than any of the opposition to it. It is so inconsistent all of the time, and the scriptures barely make any sense much of the time. When I read the Bible I just see human authors expressing their own ego.

@fotm1 Also I'd like to say that we recently had a guy that was raised Catholic, and he came to our church and ask to make profession of faith and become a part of our church. We have received him with open arms, and never thought anything of his background. If you are a person seeking the Lord we don't care what background you come from. We ALL are the body of Christ Amen!
