It highlights the preconcieved notions of homosexuals while at the same time highlighting the capabilities that all men possess--gay or straight. The post-modern elements of parody and juxtaposition are well executed here.

@grimalover: Oh gawd! With my archaic equipment, it would take forever! I put this scene up because it is my favorite scene. Ron Leibman, Alcalde, steals the show for me. I remember seeing this movie in my teens with my brother when it came out on HBO. That was back in the 80's! To this day, we still quote this scene: "Swiiiing your hips! Vaya!"
