Oh you can just buy Thief's Cuffs in the Mosphoran Highwaste. Excellent. This is a great premise for stealing the Deathbringer sword. After that I guess it'll just about be time to nab an Embroidered Tippet.

Yeah, you can use the ferry, but afterwards, there's no chocobo. Thus you'll need to walk to Bubblevale, which has a lot of enemies targetting you. Your choice really. I prefer the safe route, plus, I get to unlock a sidequest.
