@XxDRITY well theres a lot more of the wick inside the lighter, so yes you can just pull on the wick with some tweezers and expose more of it
-
can u make the wick longer???????? if so how
-
What's wrong with your voice... Or age?
-
@clvinning the copper braiding of the wick also helps to heat up the liquid fuel for more efficient ignition and fuel vapor to keep the flame constantly and consistently lit, even if it has been lit for a few seconds or several minutes the flame should be rather consistent.
-
@clvinning this patented design is the reason why many zippo knock-off brands completely suck, because Zippo's design is the most efficient in fuel-evaporation, keeping your lighter flame-ready with every single strike of the flint.
-
you forgot to mention how the fuel is replenished. if the bolt holding the flint in didn't heat the lighter's body (therefore heating the wet cotton-ball), less evaporation would occur and you would almost have to "shake" the lighter to get fluid back to the wick. ever notice how your zippo's flint wheel gets hotter than any other part of the lighter? and the reason why the bolt holding the flint is brass? to conduct more heat to the lighter fuel chamber for evaporation.

dumb ass

TROLL FACE!!!!!

@pyrot3chs The Fuel will constantly evaporate as every lighter fluid does(besides Butane since its in a compressed compartment) The Closing of a zippo just makes the flame go out within half-seconds of Fully Closing. if you are quick enough to reopen your lid before the flame is gone it will relight. only few can do this.

Really dumbass
can you use butane in a regulaer llighter for a zippo?

no, regular lighter fluid must be used as butane merely turns into a gas once its not under pressure.
