Winnie shot this video it's the night show at Chichen Itza archeological pyramids in the Yucatan. We thought the show was OK but it didn't WOW us. The show played this music with a narrative. Sorry we didn't provide the music!

Same here, it was in spanish and I don't speak spanish. It would be great (but too much to ask) if they had headphones that had the show in english. Also, why did they choose the theme song to Titanic for the show? I got so many comments blaming me for the music! I've just gotta laugh at that! Did they play the same music when you saw the show? Hopefully they changed it! Thanks for your post.

Hey Putoz,

I didn't put the music in the video. The Mexican government parks department who put the show together played the music during the show. Everyone there didn't understand why they chose this music and disrespected your culture. Take your fight to them NOT me. I was there for the beauty and culture of your country! I also enjoy mariachi music, I find it very festive.

@ninjitsufilms You know that was the music that was being played. I really don't know what possessed the guy, that put the show together, to use that music. I hate that song! I didn't change it in the video because it wouldn't truly reflect what was going on.

@KamaainaBoy I was there for the night/light show 2 years and it was fantastic. No crappy music and great commentary in the language that you DO HAVE TO ASK FOR!! People come from all over the world to experience the beauty of Chichen Itza. Do you really believe that  headphone sets (that were of the highest quality by the way), were not available for English speaking visitors? LOLOL.

I don't think I would like that at all, I am from the US, I would want to come here to see it as for what it is, under the moonlight and the stars, quiet, sitting on one of the pyramids, contemplating our place in the universe, possibly wondering if a wild cat were gonna eat me, J/K on that one. Seriously though, not bright artificial lights, Americanized music, and loud people. I am certain the Indians did not do these sorts of things when they were around.
