I recently tried to install a new u-joint on my truck and ran into a problem getting one of the parts off and don't know the name or what i need to do the rest of the way.
that looks like the Dana 60 axle. I have the Dana 44, with three rather than four mounting bolts. The wheel bearing and axle come off as a unit if you partially remove the bolts and then beat on a socket sitting on the 12 point heads of those mounting bolts. It's a cool way to do it.
brianmobile has a video describing how this is done.
