Flying provides a classic case of risk perception and how quantitative risk analysis (QRA) is not relevant in some cases.
Psychometrics could arrive at the same conclusion, but should class time be taken up in individual filling out of questionnaires, or is this example with visual aids adequate? Should there be a discussion of students' fears in rank order or is that another andragogical technique to make a different curriculum point?
