First time i got to shoot my 1939 Mauser K98. Manufacture code 42. Grouping wise despite having strong rifling ( though not as sharp as my M91/30) The rifle seems to hit all over the place but within about a 1 to 1.5 foot radius. More than enough to get a kill shot on a human in wartime, but not competition accuracy by far. Sorry the audio is so low, its the first time i shot video with this camera so im not sure what i need to adjust.

  • Seeing as how you left the bolt partially unlatched on the first shot, i'm not going to let you blame the rifle or ammo for the bad accuracy unless it's a Mitchell Mauser, which it looks like, because who knows what the hell they do to their rifles.

  • @victokirsh It was not a Mitchell Mauser. I have not shot it in awhile but im pretty sure i had it down. Only another range day will tell....hmm now i want to go shooting.

  • @coppincopp thats excessive, 30 seconds is about all you need

  • Is that tube a huge silencer ?

  • It could be a weak main spring, you should get a new spring if the problem persists.

  • @fire32njetta if you look at about 0:53 when you pull the trigger you can see it drop down a little. Good control of the flinching so you can see it.

  • when a veapon click you most wait at least 2-3 min. that is really dangerous. it happend to some time.
