STILL getting over Christmas and New Year? Bad luck, Easter eggs and Hot Cross Buns have already hit supermarket shelves.

Although many customers say it's too early to be thinking about Easter, yesterday at Chadstone Woolworths bakers were baking their first batch of hot cross buns for Victorian shoppers.

"Some people actually ask for them. Although it's still a select group of customers who want them, they sell really well," a spokesman said.
Over at the Coles supermarket in Caulfield, an Easter egg display greets customers at its entrance.

A store employee said the eggs sold well at this time of year and had been for sale since New Year's Day.

Most customers spoken to by the Herald Sun were outraged by the major retailers' decision to stock traditional Easter products so soon after Christmas.

Many shoppers commented they would need to freeze any hot cross buns they wanted to keep until Easter because they had only a 24-hour shelf life.
And with plenty of hot summer days ahead, trouble may also be in store for the chocolate eggs.

    Geez, you've got me there!

  • @sierraonezero Its what you call having respect to other people's beliefs. I personally don't attack muslims or other religion, nor even atheism. If it wasn't for my belief, I wouldn't be a much better now from where I used to be. If you don't believe in God, that's your choice. But I chose to believe. Although, I could say the same thing to you, you're a fool not to believe in God.

  • @phatzky

How offensive is that? As offensive as retards having invisible friends? Having real folks change their lives to put up with these simple minded people? So many gods, so many fools.

  • @gavjohnson01 +

What price is that? It's comedy based on retards, is this new for you?

  • Oh ffs. Go jump wankers it was a joke.

Laugh a little, probably keep you alive longer than 'Jesus' will.
