Looking back on this now 10 years later, amazing how fast the scene has moved, especially now with all the skate / snow moves being done by the pros without straps etc. France,,, wonder what the 2011 contest results will be????

I live on Hawaii island. I like to visit El Salvador. I have gone there surfing
many years since 1974. I love the people the culture and the Waves.
Hawaii waves are big powerful and raw, Centro America is perfect , clean and
long glassy waves. Beautiful women, great music and food !
I would like to visit Costa Rica, maybe I will see you there. Aloha

@guitarsurfer2010 i luckily live in Costa Rica and everyone paddles here, and the beaches arent crowded so u can cut and all tht without having 2 worry about hitting anyone

dave kalama definitely knows what he's talking about, I've never considered tow in surfing a cheat, it just totally different approach and a team thing in addition
