There is so much I could have said about Marathon, in all seriousness but I didn't. What can I say? I get flustered.

But let me tell you something, I legitimately prefer the "clown" version of the Pfhor from the original Marathon. Some people said it looked goofy but for me, it was something I had never seen before. It was alien and nonsensical and I feel like it added that pinch of originality that most alien designs simply don't bring to the plate.

I beat Marathon once a year, if not twice. I have always felt that it brought to science fiction games what Alien brought to science fiction movies. There is a utilitarian grit to the terran environments and a absurd almost surreal contrast when in the Pfhor ships.

I love you, Durandal. I named my computer after you.

If I could make a science fiction show, I would have it set in your universe!
