Awesome chevelle Im building my 68 ss right now and im about to spray the black and im gonna do the same red stripe, my car is the 325 hp 396 matching numbers with 39000 miles org butternut with black top cant wait to see it done

yea bub.... i believe youve got a thousand horsepower but its probly at the crank! Dude , if this motor had some serious power (to the wheels ) like u say it does , you would have no problem leaving a long, nice , musclecar j - hook in that concrete ! I am a true wrencher been doin it since i was in middle school bro , this is an amazing maching machine , but a 1000 horsepower (@ the wheels ) monster , sorry you are sadly mistaken , research and dyno your claims before you make them...

@Fordsoulburn85 Ugh. I hate having to defend videos we post. Yes, the horsepower claim is at the motor. We are high performance engine builders and have been in business doing nothing but engines since 1968. We have a DTS 2500 water brake dyno. It's properly calibrated and is not "corrected". Please follow the link in the pop up bubble for the burn out footage. As far as researching our claims, we let the dyno print out speak for itself. We appreciate everyone who watches the videos.

I have a 540 Dart, It's got a blower, Twin carbs, big valve aluminum heads, It's only pushing 640HP, I have no doubt that it will smoke this motor. Sorry, You Dyno this it's gonna be under 500HP.

@seenalotabs Under 500? We just put out a pump gas 383 that made 501HP with a mild cam and Dart heads. I have another video posted of blown 540 we built that did 950HP on pump gas (compared to the 640HP you say yours made). The 1000HP claim for this motor is based on pump gas and 5lbs of boost. It can handle race gas and 15lbs. 1000HP is conservative.
