INSIDE Grauman's Chinese Theatre 11-6-10

Bob and I always seem to end up getting some kind of special treatment- sometimes it's gratis dessert or appetizers or drinks, sometimes it's little extras from maintenance or security that they don't do for other people. We'd been playing around in front of the theatre, putting our hands and feet in the cement like all tourists do, (even though it's in our neighborhood, lol!) and the person who did THIS favor for us had come up and started talking to us. The person was extremely nice and after a while of talking, next thing I knew, we were being ushered INSIDE the theatre!! From what I understand, they don't allow people to take pics or video when they come for movies, and I'm not even sure about on the official tour, but WE got a private tour and got to see everything while it was EMPTY, and take dozens of pics and some video.
We really appreciate that kindness, and have found LA to be full of people who have such great attitudes and are really nice. I won't mention who let us do this in case it could cause trouble for them, but we will be making sure to return the kindness next time we meet, and from then on.
