Before The Oblivians, Tearjerkers and Reigning Sound, Greg Cartwright and Jack Yarber had a band called THE COMPULSIVE GAMBLERS (from Memphis, TN).
Here is a song called "Stop & Think It Over" off the "Crystal Gazing, Luck Amazing" LP (released in 2000 on S4TRI). This album was recorded by Jim Diamond at Ghetto Recorders in Detroit, MI.

The two thieves of this song aren't dead. I know one of them personally, he played with the band briefly, helped work on the song "Stop & Think It Over."
