  • @atkristabradford what is cool aid!!!! Some countries dont have it and we dont know what to get instead!!

  • While this does work really good to get vibrant colors on lighter hair, it is a nightmare to get out. It is a permanent stain most of the time. Kool-Aid and Jell-O both just stain the hair. As a hair stylist, I've had to try to remove this after it stayed in the hair for months. It just fades and looks yucky after awhile and you have to bleach (lightener) the hair or dye it dark to cover it. So, be prepared for it to be around for awhile!

  • @lesmilne Thank you for mentioning this! I almost started doing this and you saved my hair ;)

  • Omg sooooooo getto!!:)

  • @Glitterpink2200 Kool aid

  • You do it wrong. You're supposed to use the packets of Kool-aid and not put sugar in it. If you wanted green, you could've used blue and yellow.

  • LOL this is not new at all, I am in my late 30s and we did this when I was a teenager ;) Everything comes back around!

  • @lesmilne Wow in all the years I used that as a teenager and all my friends, I have never heard of it being permanent or even long lasting for anyone! That's news to me, but then again, it's probably because of the color you started with in the first place (my hair is black)

  • @Glitterpink2200 it's called Kool-Aid, and it's a powdered juice concentrate that people use to make a juice drink for kids. When I was a kid, we used Kool-Aid to dye our hair, I had no idea they still do that. Maybe you can order it online ;)

  • @lesmilne I don't think it'd be a problem for me. :D I wanted a permanent color that doesn't damage the hair. But if it fades can't I just re do it so it'll look bright again?

  • @peaceloveminecraft Sometimes it stays, especially if you have really light hair. If you have dark hair I don't think it'd be a problem. Why don't you test it on an extension or a small piece of your hair? :D

  • Guys, it's kool aid, of course it's not permanent
