Got the comment here and very sorry to hear. These have been real consistent, but could be something in this unit touching the inner casing which can ground it out. Not normal, and hope the next one works well for you.

is the head on a clean setting before you engage the pedal ? and does this pedal push the tubes to break up more as apposed to a overdrive pedal with volume increased on pedals gain setting that causes the amp to naturally distort ? I know it must be hard to tell with all the heavy fuzz but when the FUZZ setting on the pedal is adjusted does it increase pedal volume and there fore cause the amp to distort more or does the FUZZ setting just add fuzz unlike a overdrive pedal ? do you follow me ?ha

@jamaguitar699 Got the message here and sorry if late comment.Can say yes, this is running on the amp clean channel side, so no other flavoring to the tone except the box itself. Not sure with additional volume direct just from the pedal it will start to affect the tube response, but sure it will some at higher settings on both pedal and amp. Very nice unit for the price on this one.

How is the sustain on this? Is it comparable to a muff? I've got a Joyo Vintage Phase and The Crunch Distortion and I can't say enough about the quality for the dollar.

@rifftonefx thanks for your concern, seriously, i mean that, alot of guys wouldn't care. got a new one, Amazon was not that bad to deal with i guess. this little guy exceeded my expectations. thanks so much for turning me on to this awesome little box of fuzz. now i'm one happy customer!

big disappointment!, ask for one for christmas, got it plugged it in, nothing. disconnected from power supply put in battery, nothing. now to exchange for a new one. buyer beware! (and i was so looking forward to this pedal)
