A trip back in time
A car ride from Colden Common in Eastleigh
to Milton Rd in the 1960's...The cars are new and my father's was the black Morris Minor the other two are his brother and sister's.

I lived in brambridge for 25 years, how did a double decker bus get under the bridge at Allbrook?

My grandfather said the road was lower and the footpath had a safety rail along it under the bridge as the road was 2-3ft lower.A good example of the setup is in Bevois valley Southampton as this still has the safety rail.
