you speak of divisions inside the parish. I have been in the Way for the last 20 years and have seen what you are saying! But 90% of the cases I saw, always this division was caused by parish priests themselves who saw the Neocathecumenal Way as a threath to "their power"... which it totally is not. it actually gives Him a way of finding his real position as head of a number of small cells which together form a strong parish with strong faith based on true Values and not stupid worldly values.

@michaeloro12 I tend to disagree with you on the fact that the Pope had the chance to experience the Neo Catecumenal Way Both as Cardinal and Bishop - in fact it was him who Invited the way to start in Munich as Archbishop of Munich almost 40 years ago. I assume that if he were to find anything against/in favor of, from second hand sources, he would more than surely have enough first hand experience to judge for himself. the situation.

@emy2033 I say it as a religious brother who has personal experience working in parishes where Neocats have groups. I have seen the divisions in the parish they can course. The Pope only has second hand information on the Neocats, he is not a parish priest and therefore only has theoretical information about the movement submitted to him by the Neocats themeselves.

@michaeloro12 Yeaaah right. Of course You (with big "Y") probably know better than the Pope, leader of the worldwide Catholic Church, successor of St Peter, elected an guided by the Holy Spirit.... so keep having "grave" reservations about whatever you want wise guy

@lerdense As much as I would be happy to thank the popes you mentioned, I really wouldn't be quick to thank Paul VI because kind of destroyed the Church through overwhelming modernism and revolution away from traditionalism. As for JPII and Benedict XVI I would thank them till kingdom come :).
YES!!! Thank You Lord!, Thank You Paul VI, John Paul II, and, Benedict XVI and most certainly Thank You Mary for showing us to obey the church and to follow and love your infinite son Jesus Christ!! AMEN! :)

@AdversusHaereses i am familiar with sspx i do like how they defend the traditional liturgy, but there are other beliefs they hold that I disagree with, even though I can't stand the novous ordo, and all the abuses that go along with it, i do recongize that the Bishiops do have the authority to conduct the mass as they will
