This was really cool! You can't compare the two at all but I am a figure skater so I think figure skating is better and more beautiful! But I love to watch gymnastics at the same time and did it before I started skating!

Both sports are similar in some ways. They require exquisite balance, timing, strength, flexibility...and artistic flair. In a way it's more like art than sport. They are both sports requiring perfection. I'm a bit more partial to piano playing. At least it's easier to be mediocre. LOL

Its cool but i think there was to much going on on-stage. not a good contrast and there wasnt really a point of combining the gymnasts on ice with the figure skaters.

mira yo croe que el concepto es bueno lo que pasa es que no lo supieron llevar bien a cabo, no le queito el merito a los patinadores y a las gimnastas pero fue una mezcla rara como mezclar agua y aceite

@myicemyworld1023 Probably skaters on the mat, because they already have the strength and flexibility required. Gymnasts would have to build an entire new skill to figure skate, even at a low level.

haha and ive also had gymnastics competitions that they put mats on an ice rink to use the arena, so ive already done gymnastics on ice with the mats like that! hahaha

Did they show any of Nastia's other routines. IG mentioned a beam routine and a dance number. What about other gymnasts! Thanks for posting.

I can't believe how little of Nastia there was in this show. She appears again sharing a beam routine with another gymnast for about 10 seconds, and that's about it. There is also a high bar and rings number from some of the leading male gymnasts. I will post them if people want to see them.
