This is a video I've created some years ago. It features the story of Melissa and Lance of 80s soap "Falcon Crest" with a great piece of music. The song is called "Let's go out tonight" by Craig Armstrong, feat. Paul Buchanan.

Stars in this music video are Ana-Alicia, Lorenzo Lamas, Jane Wyman, Margaret Ladd, Rod Taylor, John Callahan, Robin Greer & David Selby.

@laminage I do think he loved Melissa.. if u watch the hospital scences he says he does...but what i think is go great from the begining was that the two of the them had a great chemsitry..it was obvious from the start that he was her soulmate but like all relationships like that they are very emotional and turbulent.. Lance did love Melissa

i love kristian alphonso as princess gina on days of our lives...but she was not the right match for lance...ana alicia was so dynamic as melissa and she was even more delicious when melissa was going off the deep end...there's something mesmerizing about wicked women who start to lose their mind...there was scene where melissa pleaded to lance..."please, don't hurt me, lance...***of course, lance hurt her anyway and the next thing you know...melissa was weilding all manner of weapons...

If anyone doesn't want to know the answer do not read on...OK as you can see from the video Melissa dies from the fire at the beginning of season 8. Maggie drowns to death at the beginning of season 9. Richard goes on to marry Lauren Daniels (whom the audience never took to) Cole and Vicki moved out of town. Emma left town after the Charlie story. Season 9 had a different feeling to it than the rest...most of the original cast was gone including Jane Wyman. She was ill and was only in 4 eps.

Oh...you can see that he loved her! At the end of this video and the actual episode Lance just fell apart. Had she not been killed off of the show I'm certain that they would have ended up together in the end.

Do you think that Lance realized that he did love Melissa after she died or do you think he used her? Their relationship was very complex.
