COUNCILLORS have praised the people of Cullompton for braving the wind and rain to support the town's 'best carnival yet'.
Heavy rain had been battering Mid Devon all day on Saturday 28, but the Christmas Lights Parade was never in doubt, and thankfully it became drier at 6pm for the parade itself, which made its way through the town centre.
