shift your weight to the front - get your hips close to the handlebar. do this dynamically, and start braking before you've reached the fore-most position. usually you don't need to brake hard to get your rear wheel up now. when you feel that the rear wheel is leaving the ground and getting to high then shift your body a little bit backwards again while softening the brake.
thanks, and to do a front end manual do you tap your brake or slighty hold it? Ive been trying forever and I never seem to get distance, thanks again

the key is to throw your body foreward, brake, and use your foots to get the backwheel up - like you would do for a bunnyhop. good luck!

thx! shimano deore disc, 7" rotors, koolstop brakepads - but most of it is playing with your balance point and moving your hips.
