we did mind out own buisness. they struck 1st... several times on severel different occasions. there lucky that it took us as long as it did to finally engage in this war. n with bin laden died now it's only gonna get worse.

how the hell are we stil loosing when we got technology like this? we could singlehandidly win the war if we pulled all of our troops out and just used the predator drones and save alot of lives in the process. deploy like 100 or more of these for acouple of hours a day and clean up known locations of insurgents that would be a good thing to do i think

@thomas242007 easier said then done. we can have all the air power we want but it comes down to boots on the ground. we have to have troops physically interacting w/ the locals and engaging the enemy in order to gain any kind of ground.

@hopwood6360 Asymmetrical Warfare . Occupation = resistance , the occupied nation resists using any means necessary . Iraq will be recognized as a victory ; However , the policies that were enacted in 2003-2004 forced an otherwise friendly nation to take up arms ( bakers , mechanics etc ) . Worse still , the occupation will frame the resentment leading to 'blow-back' . I am also a combat veteran . Arabs are truly respectful , and only ask the same in return

@willian32976 they have "upgrading" apaches ever since they were first produced, so it wouldn't be surprising if they did put 40mikemikes on an apache, but my guess is explosive rounds. And they should rub pig fat all over every bullet before they go on patrol or into combat. :)
