Barbara McQueen has led an interesting life to say the least. A farmer's daughter, she was raised in Corvalis, Oregon, and by age 18, Ms. McQueen was on her way to becoming a highly-sought after model in New York City, appearing on the cover of Cosmopolitan, Glamour, & Sports Illustrated, to name but a few.
However, it was her initial meeting with future husband Steve McQueen in July 1977 that really altered the course of her life.

how did they meet? she 22, he 46.....he asked his agent to send over a model who photo he liked for a casting couch interview....they hooked up.....trophy wife, trophy husband...cool
