  • This is an issue that isn't getting as much attention as it should. With over 70 percent of nonviolent criminals in jail, you would think that there would be better, cheaper ways of dealing with them such as community service or house arrest. Cutting the budget of 59 billion in half would be possible if these ideas were taken into action.
