  • @FlashConcept I have no idea. I downloaded it from their website, but it does not include any information.

  • This is another one I really like. I like the "older" feel more than newer up beat stuff. What do you think?

  • @MassSettings What choir is this ? I am really impressed and the choir I sing in is preparing for Easter soon.

  • What choir is this ? I am really impressed. I am in a choir and with God's blessing, we will sing this in a few weeks, maybe by Easter.

  • I agree with BrendanDKilpatrick. To wish another group's "isolation" is entirely un-Christian, un-Catholic. It's the same words brother, no matter how it's sung. Have you ever been to a mass in the outback of Africa? Now THAT is full of power in a totally untraditional manner. During the time of Jesus music was with drums and string instruments if you want to quote historical significance. Be open...be humble....be non-judgemental. I look forward to Mass of Renewal at our church.

  • Where's Noel Goemanne when you need him?

  • father Ricky. ang galing I love it .what a gift to be able to compose beautiful songs for the greater glory of God.

  • I do like this setting, though the alleluia is not very helpful. I agree that this could be equally lovely in contemporary and traditional arrangements, the harmony is very nice. I would argue that this translation is about going "back" to anything, however. Rather, it is coming to a more adult, more noble, perhaps more sober rendering of the Latin of the Third Edition of the Roman Missal, set forth by Blessed John Paul II in 2000.

  • Well that's unkind to say. Especially about fellow brothers in Christ. To express your views is one thing. But to wish ill on others? That's not what Jesus would want his body of followers to do. I would say that this new set of mass parts available are decent, *both* traditional and contemporary. I just hope that we're able to make the transition from the old to the new a smooth and successful one!
