I'm American and some of my countrymen are obviously ignorant. The fact that the teams are based here is pure economics and scale. The majority of players are Canadian and that hasn't changed. Canada's B team is competitive with our best, so calm down. The best line in hockey is San Jose's Thornton-Marleau-Heatley: all three are Canadian and they are the favorite for Gold at the games in Vancouver. Russia is next and USA generally competes with the Czechs, Swedes, and Finns for 3rd spot.
