When you cheer for a one line statement that corresponds specifically to an issue that's a hot-button for you (whether it be the decriminalization of marijuana or a fundamental right to life), you bond others' perception of your enthusiasm to a narrow and simplistic perspective. Simple in that you become easily defined to others, and your voice becomes easy to dismiss. I think Ron Paul prefers rational discourse.
I hope his ripple in the last election continues to influence national dialogue.
