Every Hagstrom made in the 00's is made in China. No exceptions...whoever tells you otherwise is lying. They used to be made in Sweden back in the day and for a while their accordions were made in Germany as well but todays Hagstrom=China. I've got the Select Swede and the Spalted Maple Ultralux Ultra Swede. They're probably the best guitars I've had regardless of where they were made. Epiphones suck compared to Hagstroms.

@shaytan1313 You've obviously never been on tour. Constant temperature changes (cold on the bus/plane, hot on stage), changes in humidity depending on where you are playing etc. Temperature change from the start of the set to the end (gets insanely hot on stage). Constant string changes... It demands quite a lot from a guitar. On the road it is a big issue. The construction of the neck on the Hagström makes it excel in this area.

I am a Hagstrom owner. But I can't help but laugh when he says they are played by some of the best guitarists out there but they can only provide references from The secret machines, Panic at the Disco, the guy from Marc Anthony's back up band and Miley Cyrus' guitarist haha. Those bands don't come to mind when thinking "greatest out there".,
