  • Reminds me of those Detective records on Swan Song from the 70's.

  • I hadn't noticed that yet but I fucking loved those Detective records..."None of Your Business" was the bomb!..I've searched YouTube for clips of Detective without sucess...but I think you can find Silverhead occasionally. thanks for taking the time to check it out!

  • Hadn't noticed? Well, I know it's your band, and you wrote it, sing it, and play the song, but............if I close my eyes during the opening chords it sounds like you are jamming w/ their rhythm section. Tone-wise, your guitar and voice are in the same range they used a lot. I know Des Barres vocal range was all over the place, but generally speaking, I think there are striking similarities.

  • No, I'll take the compliment...I loved both Detective albums..and "More Than Your Mouth Can Hold" (Silverhead) would be a great song for somebody to cover. If I had a career, I would do it. ;-) are you someone I know..or how did you happen upon our video? (having a hard time believing anyone other than me and my old friend, Ron DeSaram remembers Detective.)

  • I thought I smelled fish! ;-)

thanks for the encourgement, maybe sometime I'll get back down to West Palm and do another gig (are you still in that area?) . I assume we can both agree on this one this weekend > Go Colts!

  • I'll give you a hint: "Don't kick it deep to Teddy Ginn next year!"

Aww..., that was kinda cold! I'd actually wear a Jets jersey twice a week just to play and sing like that once in my life. Rock on, Jay. Jus keep rockin.

Check my page. lots o cool stuff on my favorites.

  • Well..., glad you went in a musical direction, rather than pursuing a career as an investigator. You can just click on snook0524 and it will take you to my page where my name is prominently displayed in the same place your name is located on your page (possibly, of course, you just didn't care enough to bother).

  • My favorite part is around 2:12.

    lyrics to chorus:

Well we don't know where we're going to

But we both know where this road leads to

And if you don't know God is shown in you

and all you got to do is Look.
