Peace,Love,&Jonas [Season 2: Chapter 6]

It was almost another two hours later and there was still no sign of Joe anywhere. People were on the look out everywhere for him, but couldn't even get a clue. Katie had been walking around downtown looking for him, and then she got a text.from Joe.

TEXT: Come meet me.
Katie knew exactly where he was so she started running since he was only about two blocks away from where she was right then. She got to the outdoor stage, which had cleared out except for a few scattered people. She looked around and noticed a person sitting by themselves with their back hunched over. She walked down and sat next to him. Joe looked up and wrapped his arms around her, he held on tight to her and just broke down.
Katie: I'm here now. Everything's going to be okay.
Joe: (just held on tightly and cried. It wasn't like him to cry but he didn't care because the most important person in his life right now was holding him and he knew she wouldn't let go)
Katie: (pulled away, lifted his sunglasses off but kept his hat low enough so no one could see his face but her) Why would you just leave like this? Everyone has been going crazy looking for you for the past two hours.
Joe: (told her everything that happened)
Katie: (wipes his tears away with her finger) I'm sorry.
Joe: Why? You didn't do anything.
Katie: Yeah, but if I wasn't so angry then this whole thing would have never happened.
Joe: You had all the reason to be angry. I would be if I was in your position.
Katie: Thanks for sticking up for me. (softly kisses his lips)
Joe: I'll always do anything to protect you.
Katie: (smiles and cuddles up to him) So what have you been doing for nearly the past four hours?
Joe: There was this really cool concert here.
Katie: Really? That's awesome.
Joe: It was. Everyone who was playing did amazing. (sighs) So when are you going home?
Katie: I don't know.
Joe: Are you sure you don't wanna stay?
Katie: After all this? No, sorry.
Joe: But you don't even have to stay on our bus! You can stay on Demi's bus. Or like Mayas.
Katie: Its not that easy.
Joe: Yes it is! You don't have to talk or look at Kevin...you don't even have to come off the bus! I just want to be able to see you when I want.
Katie: Maybe...
Joe: If you don't come back on tour, then I'm not going back either.
Katie: You're crazy! You could and would never do that.
Joe: Watch me. (takes out his phone and starts to dial his manager's number)
Katie: (taps the end button on his iPhone) Fine! I'll come back. But I'm not staying on your bus. I'll stay on Demisif shell let me.
Joe: Of course she will! (hugs her tightly and kisses her head) I'm so glad you're staying.
Katie: (giggles) Me too. I should probably tell Nick I found you. (takes out her phone and texts him that she is with Joe in Millennium Park and they're both fine.)
Joe: That was quick. (turns around and points to two bodyguards at the entrance to the stage)
Katie: (laughs) Yeah well we gotta keep the superstar safe.
Joe: Hey!
Katie: What? (stands up)
Joe: (stands up and pulls her close) I love you.
Katie: I love you too. (leans up and kisses him) C'mon. Lets get back to the hotel. Everyone is gonna wanna see you.
Joe: (groans)
Katie: Oh shush. (wraps her arm around his waist and he slipped his around her shoulder and they walked up to the bodyguards)
Joe: Lets get going gentlemen.
Bodyguard: Alright.

-At the hotel-
(Joe and Katie walk into the room where Mr. and Mrs. Jonas, Nick, Kevin, and Michelle were waiting anxiously.)
Mrs. J: (crying) Oh my goodness! (jumps up and hugs him tightly) I'm so glad you're safe!! (kisses his forehead)
Joe: Yep. I'm fine. I just needed some time alone.
Nick: (gets up and brotherly hugs Joe) Thank god you're alright man.
Mr. J: Girls do you mind leaving for a minute? We need to talk as a family.
Michelle: No problem. Well just go to our room. (her and Katie walk out and go into their hotel room down the hall)
