A student-created experiment to determine the relationship between position and time of a traveling buggy car. Students in a high school physics class, using the modeling method of instruction, determined an experimental question and designed an experiment to answer the question. They took measurements and presented their data to their peers. Upon discussing the data obtained by all of the groups, the students arrived at the correct conclusion about the motion of the buggy car and developed a mathematical model to represent the motion as well.
