This song was my shit in 5th grade. My moma bought the 45 and when she would leave the apartment, I used to crank this song up loud and walk around the living room doing my little pimp strut thinking that someday I would be a rich man! LOL

For the past 25-30 years I've been singing the first stanza of this song whenever I'm on a long trip and need to stay awake or I'm getting dressed to go out --- "My name is Squirrel, Best shaker in the world"
However, I could never remember the name of the song or where I originally heard it.
Today I did a google search on the lyrics and eventually found my way to this YouTube video. You've made me a very happy old man today!

This song was the lick back when I was a kid. I remember my older cousins gett'n it to this and my brother thought he was as cool as the Dramatics. LOL... My name is sqawl, best shaker in the waaarld...

The Boy's really partied haearty on this one, brings back great memories of the Dramatic's not only as artist but as friends. Ronny & Lenny RIP. The world will truley miss you guy's but not nearly as much as your friends. Congrats to Squirrel for getting his Law Degree miss you too my brother's.
