The second of the Orwell Prize's events at the Sunday Times Oxford Literary Festival 2011, held at noon on Tuesday 5th April. Karen Freyer (managing director, New Deal of the Mind) and Sir Mark Jones (director, V&A) talk to Jean Seaton (director, the Orwell Prize) about arts funding and the importance of the arts to society and country. In this part, the panel concludes by answering the audience questions (the tape runs out very shortly before the end).
