rasta is a way of life unique to the individual. the rasta way of life is not a religion.
it is not a political party.
it is NOT a hair style. selassie I dread? marcus dread? if a man decide to turn rasta he dont have to dread up his hair to live the lifestyle. the essence of rasta is not in your hair it is within your mind and spirit.
merry christmas pray jesus find you and keep you

Mi bun that yuh dont haffi dread foolishness. Its not about the TITLE its about the struggle fighting the bondage that comes with the mindstate, the dreads represent the resilience and grace under fire in society, it is a powerful step in this lifestyle. Mi nuh care how much marley song yuh chant or who yuh pray too you nuh REAL RASTA once again my locks go with me EVERYWHERE i carry the essence. yuh no wear your little ''RASTA'' jacket to work? to court? NO your interchangable with Babylon.

@Camren301 no sense in fightin your parents for something you already have in your heart...when you are old enough to make your own decisions do as you please. When your young every little thing seems to matter so much but God is your jugde and will not hold responsible for honoring your parents wishes-as long as they are good. Selassie only had dreads when he was young but as he got older he kept a clean cut look
rasta is 4 everyone no matter what skin colour bald heads or dreads its a fellig in the heart bless bigup 4 my rasta brethren and sisthren
