If you have any problems viewing or listening to mobile phone recordings (typically .3gp or .mp4) under Linux I've found a handy free program which will fix this issue. The program is called Mobile Media converter and here's the link to the download:
http://www.miksoft.net/mobileMediaConverter.htm
This is a cross platform program but for this video I've just concentrated on Ubuntu Linux users. The program can perform other tasks such as downloading videos from youtube.
Please note that this program is 32 bit. This is taken from the Mobile media converter site
"Q: Why don't you make a 64-bit version available?
A: Unfortunately, there is not way to do this because RealBASIC, in which MMC is written, does not produces 64-bit executables. You can install MMC on your 64-bit Debian-based Linux by using the command "sudo dpkg --force-architecture -i ./mmc_1.4.2_i386.deb"."
Cool. Thank you.
