  • hey any tips? when ever i try to pitch i always get a back lash

  • @Jaygay13 Try this. Let enough line that would cover your longest pitch. Then take a piece of electrical tape and tape it onto your spool of line. Then reel the line back up into your reel. Now if you backlash it will only go a few feet. I don't recommend fishing like this but it's a great way to practice without fighting backlashes all the time.

  • great vid denny

  • @Wired2Fish well what i ment was skipping a jig across the water i always get a back lash no more do i get them flipn and pichin

  • So basically the method of flipping and pitching are the same except that when you're flipping the only thing you are physically doing differently (besides not bringing the wrist up as fast to cast as far) is that when you're pitching you hold the line with your hand to help control it? Is that the only difference? Someone please answer

  • @HATINTHEKAT Dosen"t matter. That is something that is determined by the fisherman and is taylored to the individual fisherman.

  • Thks for the tips!

  • @Wired2Fish ok well thanks and nice vids :)
