The JVC GY-HM100U ProHD camcorder at NAB 2009. The HM100U is capable of capturing full HD (1920x1080) @ 35 Mbps onto SDHC media cards. The camcorder uses three newly developed 1/4" progressive scan CCDs and comes equipped with a Fujinon 10:1 Zoom HD Lens. Coming in at about 3.2lbs, the JVC GY-HM100 is a HD workhorse in a compact body.

I'm trying to decide whether to get this camera or the panasonic AG-HMC150, which has 1/3" CCD sensors. How much picture quality or low light proficiency am I forfeiting with the JVC's 1/4" sensors?
