The Egg and I (1947) O Ovo e Eu

Bob, recém casado, compra uma fazenda e sua esposa Betty vai junto. Ele espera começar um negócio com ovos, mas ela está cautelosa quanto ao sucesso do mesmo. O maior problema será se adaptarem a vida rural.

On their wedding night Bob informs his new bride Betty that he has bought a chicken farm. An abandoned chicken farm, to be exact, which is obvious when the two move in. Betty endures Bob's enthusiasm for the rural life, rustic inconveniences, and battling nature, but her patience is severely tested when glamorous neighbor Harriet Putnam seems to set her sights on Bob.

I like the movie. I posted it here because some people might like it too. But it's just a movie. The chances of being happy in this world, in reality, not like a movie, are many. Thanks so much for putting this on. My son and I have loved these since he was just a toddler. We had them on tape but wore the tapes out! Ignore the grumps on here and their juvenile, whiny remarks. WE LIKE IT AND THANK YOU FOR IT! Much appreciated.

My son is now 18 and we watched some of this just this morning before he went to school! Still laughing!
