Dragnet - The Big Break - Part 2 of 4

George Hoffman, an armed robber and ex-con in Los Angeles, has recently committed a string of armed robberies. His capture has become a top priority for the Los Angeles Police Department. Sgt. Friday, his partner, Officer Frank Smith, and two other detectives are assigned the case. The four detectives, without a modern day swat team, manage to take the heavily armed fugitive into custody.

After the successful capture however, Hoffman devises a clever way to escape and continues his spree of armed robberies. It is up to the LAPD to recapture Hoffman and make sure he remains in custody.
