A question: it looks like you use short fingernails. Your tone is very crisp and clear. Do most baroque lutenists use fingernails? Thank you in advance.

@ninebreaker21 Hi ninebreaker, as far as I know, most baroque lutenists do not use fingernails. I don't use fingernails when I'm playing with gutstrings. In this video I play with nylon, so I use a short nail, just to give a bit of clarity. If you check my new video with weiss music, there I'm using gut strings and no fingernails. Regards
