Come Fly With Me Review - Episode 1

Come Fly with Me is a mockumentary created by and starring Matt Lucas and David Walliams, and narrated by Lindsay Duncan. The series premiered on Christmas Day 2010, on BBC One and BBC One HD. The series follows the activity at a fictional airport, and three fictional airlines: FlyLo (a low-cost airline), Our Lady Air (an Irish airline) and Great British Air (a major international British airline). As it does, we encounter a variety of staff and passengers, generally played by Lucas or Walliams.

Come Fly With Me belongs to the BBC.

Hey everyone. I've received a lot of hate for this review because some people think that I'm just being too harsh on the show and that I should get a sense of humour. If you're one of those people, did you know that David Walliams (Actor and Writer of the Show) said that Series 1 wasn't very good. Even one of the creators agrees with me. Think about that before you give me a hate comment.

@livi334 I did to give it a fair chance. You seen Source Code? That movie is brilliant until the end completely makes everything worthless. It can work the other way around. A good ending or a good final few sketches could have made this a good episode.

To be fair, I think you missed the aim of the Bangkok joke. I think it was making fun of the fact that it is a known haven of prostitution, not the name of the town itself.

Glad I wasn't the only one who hated it, because god knows why a Dutch broadcaster even bothered to buy this programme because I caught it on tv by accident once, and found it unwatchable. I was bored to tears.

I need some semblance of human intelligence in my comedy, not this kind of thrash.

I'm speaking as an American, so maybe I'm not qualified to really make an assessment of this, but... what's the appeal of these guys? All I've seen them do is make fun of minorities and poor people. I mean, Asian mail order brides? Seriously? And the classism is awful. Girls like Vicki Pollard act like that because they're poor and they don't really know any better. The only thing I really enjoyed about Little Britain was the Tom Baker narration. I won't lie, that was hysterical.

i think the show sucks much like little britain after season 1. the jokes are the same repeated over and over, perhaps this show targets tv junkies with tiny brains.

come fly with me is terrible and i think that racist jokes are too much to take.

it's rather pathetic to be frank and these two comedians have lost their mojo completely
