yes the queen was forced at gunpoint..No Hawaii didnt vote to be part of America..it was taken. If not for America we would of bee n forced by Russia, France, or Japan. So I guess it could be worse. Plus if we get our sovereignty back I dont think we would survive..It would be very poor and not as good as we have it now

@shootiesxkabooties You are correct. Its actually a nice location for a hotel because of its distance from the city. I was there a few years ago and they were aggressively busing in and paying people to attend a 2 hr timeshare presentation. It seemed as if too many people mingled at their cocktail hour to let others know they were so pleased with their timeshare purchase.Hmm. Apartment rentals ? I am sure you can rent an apartment there for as long as you want just as you would in any hotel.

@hiroguam actually, it's not all timeshare. it's a pretty legit hotel. the timeshare part of it is new and it's mostly apartments that aren't even that close to the hotel itself

@omfgyahh actually no HAWAIIANS did NOT vote to be part of the USA. Get your facts straight. We were illegally occupied at gunpoint. The then President Cleveland called it a "illegal act against a foreign country" and demanded our Queen be returned to the thrown but before those ordered could be follwed through upon, the next President McKinley decided to keep the illegal occupation of our country because it served the US as a good middle port during war and place for bomb practices.
