Giant Anthem X 2010 race bike

This is my race bike for this year. An Alu Giant Anthem X with a full custom build comes is at about 21.7lbs.

This is maybe the fastest bike I have ever ridden and with the new Swiss DT world cup fork it handles really well and super responsive.

I run Racing Ralphs on it and both front and rear are 2.1 they are the best racing XC tyre out there.

Lovely looking bike. ive just got a giant xtc yesterday.. just wondering if your frame is the 6000 alluxx sl ..? and is it butted

@customtuned It is the standard Aluminium Anthem X frame but it weighs only 200g more than the carbon one but is a lot more crash proof and easier to replace. All the aluminium Giant frames are hydro formed and every tube is unique. The welding areas where they meet are adjusted in the hydro forming stage to enable the most efficient wield area and strength. It is a very fast and rapid ride and handles very well. I love it.

i got the anthem x4 really pleased with it shame dont have a choice in colours as the red looks really nice

@shaydap It is actually a lot more read in real life. The camera has made it look a bit orange but I can assure you it really stands out.

@miscuser69 Loosing weight is not an option. I have a 4% body fat anyway and for the last few years no one has beaten me, on any course, regardless how much they look like a monster.

@GarethKeenan101 well it seemed to work well enough for me. I won the UK Masters cross country title on it for a second time so all the weight wasn't for nothing. I'll take you out for a ride and for the first minute you can admire the bike but after that i'll drop you like a ginger kid on prom night.
