There are the lyrics to the beautiful, Latin song Lilium from the anime 'Elfen Lied'. Forgive me if I got parts wrong, I'm no Latin major after all :P.Includes English translation.

Enjoy :)

  • Elfen Lied is the only anime where I watched/listened to the intro every time I watch it!

  • I love the way the artist and creator of Elfin Lied portrayed the humans. Not only did she know that humans see themselves as powerful beings but also that they are cold, merciless beings. She expresses that humans can become monsters as a monster can show feelings of what it is to be human. In a way of that, she knows exactly of what humans can think inside their mind. They can be selfish and can only except what looks like them. Not anything else. It is quite a beautiful and honest story line.

  • Each time I cry when I click on this 0:01 :(

  • I agree that the song seems to be filled with peace but always that sadness never to be forgotten always there no matter what.

  • i onlt speak english but this song always seems to reach my heart no matter what.

  • without any words...

  • @PhantomhiveShieru12 it is elfen leed they say it in the anime

  • its strange ti me how this version , and the music box version , seems to have two completely different feelings too it. The music box version sounds lonely , full of nothing but sorrow. But this version seems to have a sense of peace and that goes with it ,i wonder if that could somehow have something to do with the Lucy and Nyu split personalities ?

  • @nancykilledjon The Japanese just find other languages fascinating. English, Greek, German, French...they find them really exotic and interesting to listen to.

  • LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
