After a long wait with the usual passage of First GW HST's, XC Voyagers/Super Voyagers and the occasional SWT class 159, Diesel Hydraulic D1015 Western Champion is seen creeping slowly up the bank towards a red signal before opening up briefly to enter the loop at the top of the bank. Shortly afterwards the Pacific Duo, BR(S) 34067 Tangmere and BR 7MT 70013 Oliver Cromwell come hammering up the bank on the first northbound section of the trip to Scotland.

  • Excellent stuff! 5* How late were they running? - Mike

  • By the time the passed me, they were about 90 mins late. I had got to Hemerdon a hour early too, thinking they'd be on time.

  • Good video, and was a good show, even though it was late!!!!

  • It was worth the wait - and pneumonia!
